What is this?

This is a file sharing service. It's worse than Google Drive -- and not made for the purposes it is. It is primarily used to share files on social media, with custom embed options, basically allowing you to choose what you want files to look like on social media apps. As an added bonus, we enjoy privacy, so an email is not required to log in, and files are server-side encrypted when uploaded.

How do I sign up?

To sign up, you must be invited by an existing user. Invites are distributed during waves to every user. Once invited, follow the link the user provides.

I'd like to submit a deletion request.

First, that's not a question, silly. It's Frequently Asked Questions for a reason...

Second, seriously, reach out at support@neu.lol with the following information:

• Link to file (MUST have ?key= parameter, or else we ca't determine whether your request is actually valid!)
• Any related information about the file (e,g if it's for copyright, the holder's name, your name, company name, etc...)

Why no content moderation?

Based on how our systems work, we can't and don't want to read your files. The only way that we can see the contents of encrypted files is if a user you shared the link with -- so the decryption key and id -- reports it to us.

What is your business model?

We don't have one. Currently, our services are funded at the moment by the administrators of it, but we have plans to have a premium offering which doesn't uproot our free plan.

How do I use a custom domain?

To use a custom domain, contact us on Discord, or over email. (If on email, please make sure to verify it's you by sending your username AND the first 5 characters of your API key)
